This cycle continues our commitment to teachers and students in underserved rural communities across Nigeria, with targeted funding across four focus areas: Learning Access, Digital Innovation, Educator Excellence, and Inclusive Empowerment. PRINCE CASPER FOUNDATION
About the Impact Grant
To improve educational outcomes for students in underserved rural communities across Nigeria by putting funding directly in the hands of the educators closest to them. These are the people who already know what their students need. The Impact Grant exists to fund the work already taking shape in their classrooms, so it can be carried through.
Applicants must:
- Be actively involved in the education sector in Nigeria, working directly with or contributing to the learning, development, or educational outcomes of children and young people within primary or secondary education.
- Be serving or working within a rural, underserved, or otherwise educationally disadvantaged community in Nigeria.
- Demonstrate a clear and genuine financial need affecting their ability to support or improve teaching or learning outcomes.
- Prince Casper Fellows are eligible to apply; however, priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received the Impact Grant.
- Demonstration of Need (20%): Severity and urgency of the problem before the impact grant announcement.
- Relevance & Alignment (10%): Fit with the four focus areas and the Foundation’s mission.
- Impact Potential & Sustainability (30%): Meaningful change, and whether benefits persist beyond the grant.
- Feasibility & Implementation Plan (20%): Realistic plan, credible timeline, activities matched to the need.
- Applicant Capacity & Track Record (10%): Evidence of delivery; scored at interview and reference stage.
- Budget Clarity & Accountability (10%): Costed, proportionate, and the applicant can account for funds.
Grant Tiers
₦6 million will be awarded to 26 successful applicants across three funding tiers. Applicants do not select a tier; the selection committee determines tier and award amount based on the scope, cost, need, and relevance of each proposed project.
1. Trailblazer

Our Seed Grant provides critical early-stage funding to turn ground-level concepts into active reality.

- Letter of Intent (500–750 words): Explain the educational challenge, your proposed solution, and the anticipated impact.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Provide your professional background, teaching experience, key achievements, and a recent headshot.
- Supporting Materials: Upload any additional supporting materials demonstrating your qualifications and impact as a single PDF.

The Prince Casper Foundation is a purpose-driven, privately funded nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and youth by advancing Quality Education (SDG 4). We recognize that while talent is universal, access to opportunity is not. Millions of children across Africa face structural and systemic barriers—poverty, inadequate infrastructure, under-resourced schools, untrained teachers, and social inequities—that hinder their educational journeys. Our overarching goal is to bridge the educational divide by providing resources, support, and innovative solutions that ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all children in Nigeria and Africa. Our purpose extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to addressing the structural problems that exist at the intersection of students, parents, and teachers. We understand that lasting change in education requires collective effort, which is why we focus on equipping not only students but also parents, educators, and entire communities with the tools, training, and support necessary to build a sustainable culture of learning.

Expand learning opportunities for underserved communities by building and equipping schools, offering financial support, and reaching remote areas through flexible learning models. Additionally, improve educational quality by training teachers, developing inclusive and culturally relevant curricula, and promoting student-centered approaches that nurture critical thinking and lifelong learning.
Advance Inclusivity and Educational Equity
Promote inclusive policies and programs that eliminate barriers for marginalized groups, support girls and children with disabilities, and create respectful, diverse learning environments. Leverage digital tools to bridge geographic and socio-economic gaps, ensuring every child has an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
Empower Educators and Communities
Strengthen partnerships with parents, local leaders, and youth to co-create sustainable educational initiatives. Support family engagement, after-school programs, mentorship, and student leadership to encourage shared responsibility and long-term impact in education.
