We are pleased to announce the Impact Grant, which will support teachers and students in underserved rural communities across Nigeria. The purpose of the Impact Grant is to improve educational outcomes through targeted funding in areas such as classroom resources, infrastructure, technology, student-focused initiatives, and professional development.

About the Impact Grant
To improve educational outcomes through targeted funding in areas such as classroom resources, infrastructure, technology, student-focused initiatives, and professional development.
- Currently employed as a teacher in a primary or secondary school within rural or underserved communities in Nigeria.
- Demonstrate a clear financial need impacting teaching or student learning.
- Not have received major external funding in the last two years.
- Demonstration of Need (20%): How urgent and impactful the need is on student learning or classroom success.
- Impact Potential (30%): The potential of the funding to create meaningful, sustainable improvements in the educational environment.
- Feasibility (20%): Whether the requested funds will effectively address the stated need and whether the implementation plan is realistic.
- Budget and Accountability (10%): The clarity and appropriateness of the budget, along with the applicant’s ability to account for the funds.
- Rural or Underserved Status (10%): Priority will be given to applicants from rural and underserved communities.
- Sustainability (10%): How well the project is designed to have lasting benefits beyond the grant period, including the potential for continued impact, community ownership, or scalability.
Fund Categories
Six Million Naira in Grants Will Be Awarded to 23 Successful Applicants Across Three Funding Types:
1. Trailblazer
Grant Value: ₦500,000 each
Number of Grantees: 8
Total Allocation: ₦4,000,000
This is our largest grant. It empowers recipients to break new ground, lead transformative efforts, and inspire others through bold, high-impact projects.
2. Catalyst
Grant Value: ₦200,000 each
Number of Grantees: 5
Total Allocation: ₦1,000,000
A mid-level grant designed to give promising ideas the momentum they need to move forward and deepen their reach.
3. Launchpad
Grant Value: ₦100,000 each
Number of Grantees: 10
Total Allocation: ₦1,000,000
A foundational grant offering essential early-stage support, ideal for nurturing small but powerful educational ideas and pilot projects.

- Application Form: Complete online via the official application portal.
- Upload Other Documents: Attach the required documents and any other supporting materials.
- Letter of Intent (1–2 pages): Explain the educational need, your plan, and the impact it will make.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include your teaching experience, past initiatives, and a personal headshot photograph.
- Supporting Materials: Upload any other relevant document as a single PDF file.

Our mission is to champion equitable, quality education across Nigeria and Africa. We strive to create a future where every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to a high standard of education that empowers them to achieve their full potential. We recognize that while talent is universal, access to opportunity is not. Millions of children across Africa face structural and systemic barriers—poverty, inadequate infrastructure, under-resourced schools, untrained teachers, and social inequities—that hinder their educational journeys. Our overarching goal is to bridge the educational divide by providing resources, support, and innovative solutions that ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all children in Nigeria and Africa. Our purpose extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to addressing the structural problems that exist at the intersection of students, parents, and teachers. We understand that lasting change in education requires collective effort, which is why we focus on equipping not only students but also parents, educators, and entire communities with the tools, training, and support necessary to build a sustainable culture of learning.

Expand learning opportunities for underserved communities by building and equipping schools, offering financial support, and reaching remote areas through flexible learning models. Additionally, improve educational quality by training teachers, developing inclusive and culturally relevant curricula, and promoting student-centered approaches that nurture critical thinking and lifelong learning.
Advance Inclusivity and Educational Equity
Promote inclusive policies and programs that eliminate barriers for marginalized groups, support girls and children with disabilities, and create respectful, diverse learning environments. Leverage digital tools to bridge geographic and socio-economic gaps, ensuring every child has an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
Empower Educators and Communities
Strengthen partnerships with parents, local leaders, and youth to co-create sustainable educational initiatives. Support family engagement, after-school programs, mentorship, and student leadership to encourage shared responsibility and long-term impact in education.
